Marriage is a pure bonding between husband and wife. The husband and wife relationship is the relation full of love which, Almighty ALLAH and his PROPHET (peace be upon him) have liked.
And Almighty ALLAH and his Prophet (peace be upon him) have even commanded for both husband and wife to lead the life with love and have also shown the way of it.

As Almighty ALLAH has stated in Surah An Nisa of the Holy Quran :
”O mankind! Fear your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from it created its spouse and from both of them has spread the multitude of men and women ” (Surah An Nisa Verse 1).
Imam Ghazali (may Allah’s mercy be upon him) writes in his book that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Get married, there is goodness in it”. (Mukhashifatul quloob Safa 617).
The Prophet peace be upon him said : “ The best among you is the one who is good with his wife in his house. (Ibn e maaja Hadith 2047).

It is required for both husband and wife to keep their eye on each other’s good qualities. Rather than focusing on each other’s defects. After a fight, they must forgive each other to keep their life happy.
In order to lead a happy life. The husband and wife should keep a good relationship between them. They should also have to develop the ability to accept each other and love each other.

ربَّنَا ہَبْ لَنَا مِنْ اَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّیّٰتِنَا قُرۃََّ اَعْیُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ اِمَامًا
(پ:19، سورۃ الفرقان74)
اِنَّہ عَلٰی رَجْعِہ لَقَادِرٌ (پ:30، سورۃ الطارق8 )
After every prayer and before going to sleep, both the husband and wife should perform the following procedure:
- Read Durood-e-Shareef 11 times.
- Recite the above verses 11 times.
- Read Durood-e-Shareef 11 times again.
- Then do a dua.
